ALA: (Alpha-Lipoic-Acid) - A completely natural molecule found in every cell in our body. ALA is a potent antioxidant that is even more powerful than vitamin C, and increases the effectiveness of Vitamins C & E. A study published in the Global Cosmetic Industry Journal, showed that Alpha-Lipoic Acid, being both water and fat soluble, can effectively fight free radical damage in all parts of your skin cells.
ALA also has a proven ability to affect skin cell metabolism, being found naturally in the mitochondria (or energy-producing portion) of our cells.
